Major milestone achieved: Legal documents for registering the uIC as a legal entity submitted on October 24th!

Just four weeks after the announcement of activities supporting the launch of The universAAL IoT Coalition as an international non-profit association (Belgian legal form: AISBL), the founder organisations have concluded the submission of the legal documents for the registration of The uIC AISBL through a notary service in Brussels. This resulted from a set of actions, such as the appointment of official representatives, the finalization of the uIC  Statute, and the ratification of the protocol of the General Assembly of the founders (documents attached below).

Upon the completion of the legal formalities at the Belgian MInistry of Justice – (likely around mid December) – the uIC Directorate appointed by the General Assembly will be able to initiate the official operation of the uIC and start the admission of members.

The Directorate is now preparing the uIC Website which will be launched with the conclusion of the legal incorporation of the uIC.
